DOG - DOG ISSUES

I just want to thank you for your help with Jake. The improvement has been amazing. He is a much easier dog lo walk and has learnt pretty quickly. 1 thought it might take months and months but he seems to be coping well at the moment. He has his moments of course but his 'outdoor' behaviour has improved 100%. Thanks again so much.

INTER-DOG AGGRESSION

I thought that introducing my new female puppy to my l8 month old male would be plain sailing and did not expect the war zone that transpired.

Yogi was not pleased at all that Maggie had arrived. Soon after, he attacked her on three occasions in the garden. He did not bite her but it was enough to scare us all to death. Maggie was only 9 weeks old. I separated them completely for about 3 weeks.

I searched in earnest for a reputable dog professional and more than two people recommended Kathy to me. I am so glad I took their advice. I liked Kathy instantly. The way she handled my dogs and the confidence that she had in dealing with my 'nightmare'.

Using all positive reinforcement methods Kathy was my lifeline and on each visit we would plan the next step forward.

We have progressed from having Yogi and Maggie greet each other over a child gate to Yogi and Maggie frolicking together, sleeping next to each other and just loving being dogs together. Kathy helped me to understand the importance of good solid consistent leadership with my dogs.

It is such a thrill to be able to enjoy my dogs, watch them running along the beach together and just looking plain old cute! I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone who has dog behaviour problems, big or small!
