Client Work Sheet FLow Chart I have given information about the Shneiderman's Principles of Human-Computer Interface in the Design Report. The majority of the 'Golden Rules' is common sense. Consistancy has been maintained with graphics and text typeface.  
The links section contains links to HCI related sites. There are a couple of sites which are not maintained, but do have good references. Just for interest ; on the web search using "Human+Computer+Interface", some 2.57 million entries were found.
